Galway Bay Brewery Goodbye Blue Mondays 440ml
A collaboration between Galway Bay and Begyle Brewing Company. This oatmeal IPA is packed full of West Coast hops such as Columbus, Citra, Cascade and Mosaic. This pours hazy (like most other oatmeal brews) and has a resinous and pine note typical of Cascade hopped beers. The fruit flavours are well-balanced and never overpowering, it has some good weight and mouthfeel that can sometimes be missing from a West Coast style IPA. The 6.6% ABV, in this case, works well and gives the beer just enough power whilst maintaining balance.
