We have always pushed boundaries here at Lough Gill Brewery! And this beer is a testament to that.
As part of our @faithamericanbrewingcompany Barrel Aged stout collaboration with owner Kelsey Grammer We decided to drop some of these Freshly filled Irish whiskey barrels out in the Atlantic just off the coast of Sligo.
As we had never attempted anything like this before we enlisted the help of @sligooysters These barrels rested on the sea bed for almost a year before we raised them up for packaging. With the help of @whitefieldbrewery We bottled this in a very special Cork and Caged finished 750ml bottle.
