Augustiner Helles

 Quite simply one of the best lagers in the world. Made according to the German Purity law it's made with all Bavarian hops and malt, then given a long secondary fermentation to make for a crisp, smooth beer with a lightly hoppy finish. It's the ultimate summer beer and absurdly drinkable.

Pours a crystal clear yellow gold colour with a bright white frothy head. Aroma of grass, biscuit, slight honey, hops. Taste of soft malts, honeyed sweetness balanced by a soft hop bitterness, some biscuit. Soft mouthfeel, lively carbonation.

ABV: 5.2%
