Bushmills Malt 10 Yr Old 70cl

One of our Irish favorites, and also winner of Best Irish Single Malt Whiskey in the World Whiskies Awards 2007 and a gold in the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits competition.

Tasting Notes: Some orange marmalade with a damp, waxy feel (old rubber bands?). Soft, silky texture. Delicate, with a pleasant bitter-sweet finish. Tasted blind at the World Whiskies Awards 2007

Whisky Magazine Tasting Notes

Nose: Very lightly scented with nutty ice cream and sherry.

Palate: Rich dried fruit and chewy toffee, quite a mouth filling shock after the very delicate nose.

Finish: Fudgy.

Overall: After years of being overshadowed by its older wood finished cousins, this 10 year old is finally coming into its own. Tasted by Irish Whisky Expert, Peter Mulryan
