General Humbert Lager

Appearance: Pale straw with fluffy white head. Very slight haze.

Aroma: Grainy sweetness, with subtle spiciness and earthiness.

Flavour: A light bready/crackery flavour. Very clean bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with medium soft carbonation.

Influenced by history and brewed using Irish Malt and French hops, this mellow, aromatic beer was inspired by the French General Humbert. In 1798, Humbert commanding a small army disembarked at Kilcummin, County Mayo in Ireland’s West Coast. This daring soldier came to assist the Irish in their struggle for independence.
