The White Hag Wit Beer 33cl

Don't be misled by the name this beer dose not actually contain Irish Wit. It refers to the cloudy, fresh and easy to drink style of beer. This White Hag staple is named after Fionnabhair, a controversial female character of ancient Irish mythology. She was the daughter of queen Meabh who reputedly offered Fionnabhair's "hand" to a sucession of men in return for sparring of the infamous warrior Cú Chulainn. Ultimately her beauty was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of brave Irish warriors. So in many ways Fionnabhair was a lot like the beer in your hand - bittersweet, a bit spicy with a great body!
